LITERACY VOLUNTEERS of Greater Syracuse Woman Helping Another Woman Reading

LVGS Hosts Speakers Bureau Training for Tutors and Students

Do you want to become an advocate for adult literacy in Syracuse?

Literacy Volunteers of Greater Syracuse is developing a Speakers Bureau to help promote literacy education in our community and is offering day and evening training sessions for students and teachers that think they may be interested in becoming a member of the LVGS Speakers Bureau. Learning to become an effective speaker is easy and fun. As part of the training, students and tutors will learn how to develop a personal message, engage and involve an audience, and be comfortable and enjoy speaking in public.

All training sessions will be held in the auditorium of the Beauchamp Branch Library.
